The Gov is very much ready to create solutions to societal problems using digital tools. You heard him saying the youths will constitute 60% of his cabinet members.
“For example, he actualise the innovation hub within two years as gov and that has become the technological and innovative centre in the south south Nigeria competing with some countries. Just go to Edo innovation hub at ICE, we have virtually everything the youth need to excel. The world is driven by technology and the Gov has given us that.
“See John Odigie-Oyegun Civil Service Academy position to equip civil servants for efficiency and effectiveness. He will commit more resources to building a highly motivated civil service system.
“As a member of the People Democratic Party, PDP, the reason we all especially the youths supported Obaseki was because of his zero tolerance to laziness and sound attitude to changing the narrative”
On his ambition in contesting the 2021 local government chairmanship position in Orhionmwon. Mr Odiase noted that it was time to say no to the old order of having someone who will just sit and wait for monthly allocation, instead of thinking out the BOX on how to use the resources we are blessed with in orhionmwon to create jobs for our people. Technology is the new order of the day, we must use it to lead the pathway to orhionmwon development. The local govt needs someone who have the will of setting the foundation for development.
“See my brother, the reason some of us came back home from oversea was to develop our community. I relocated from the United States of America to Nigeria because for how long shall we keep developing another man’s land?.
“I would love for orhionmwon leaders, the youth and the governor to meet every aspirants engage them on a one on one basis in a town hall forum to present their blue print on how to propel orhionmwon development and know who the cap fit
