“The vacuum his death has created cannot be filled.

“As a union we wish to use this opportunity to call on the Delta State Police Command to fish out the perpertrators of this heinous and barbaric act because the death of Comrade Austine Is capable of demoralizing other youth leaders who have the zeal to assist and work closely with law enforcement agencies in fighting against crime and criminality in the state.

“We’re seizing this medium to further call on the state government to wake up from her slumber and tackle the security challenges facing the state as the primary responsibility of the state government is to protect lives and properties.”

“We’re equally appealing to the state government to reach out to the family of the late commander to help finance the education of his kids since he died in active voluntary service in helping the state government to combat crime and criminality.

“Also it would not be out of place to immortalise Comr Austin Emu by the Delta State government,” he added.
